I want to be like this man…
What ever happened to words like “honor?” I still use that word.
Does anyone even know what a warrior is anymore? I mean when I was kid we all ran around the woods pretending to be knights and heroes of old. Have we really entered an age where the ideals of a warrior code and chivalry are truly dead? What does it mean to be a warrior?
What made Aragorn great wasn’t all the orcs he killed (that does make him bad ass though). What made him a great man is that he protected others with his life. He defended the helpless, he stayed courageous in the face of fear, he stayed true and honest to those he loved. He never quit.
I hope that writing this blog inspires people and encourages them to embark on epic quests (whatever those maybe) to dig down to that glorious wanderer, that wild heart within and to have fun doing it. Don’t miss out on the adventures of this wonderful world has to offer. Maybe some think it’s silly but I think it’s essential.
